The harder you work, the more money you get. But what if you know
very little about the value of the furniture or how to sell? This
week the Cleveland papers carried the headline “Schreckengost
ceramic plate stolen.”
Viktor Schreckengost, the world famous industrial designer, is
known in town. His 1930s Cowan Pottery “Jazz” bowl is pictured in
most books about American Art Deco. Family members decided to have a
house sale at a relative’s house and advertised “Victor
Schreckengost art.”
